2022
In 2022, one of my first shoots back in Shelby County was a local car meet in Columbiana. I had never done one up until that point, so the idea of it was intriguing. New, exciting. Just another feather in my hat and more content for my eventual website (lo and behold, here we are).
Once a month, everyone would get together in the parking lot and marvel at one another's vehicles. What they neglected to tell me was that the parking lot was in Alabaster, about 25 minutes from there. I had just been there earlier in the day thinking it hadn't begun, so I was understandably pissed BUT I refused to be denied. I was leaving there with SOMETHING.

So, as I watched the parking lot slowly begin to fill up, I found myself conversing with all the people that got out of the vehicles. Some I had grown up with, others I'd become more familiar with as time went on. Whether it be working relationships or lasting friendships, they all had one common denominator: a shared love of speed and some KILLER horsepower.
Keeping it short and sweet, this one's for the speed demons.
